AM: Jesus' not-so-hidden agenda - Matthew 16:13-20
At the beginning of the year (more or less) what priorities should we be thinking about? What about the Master Plan? Where are we headed? What's really important in all this? Jesus words to Peter in Matt 16 are a wake up call for all of us, challenging us with who he really is, and the implications for his church today. Read ahead at Matt 16:13-20.

PM: Where do we fit? - 1 Peter 2:4-12
We are different. We know that. Christians are different from the world around us. But what do we do with that difference? The two options that we usually take are these: 1) Isolation - we cut ourselves off from the rest of the world so we don't stand out and cop too much flak, or 2) Assimilation - we minimize some of our differences so that we don't look so different after all. But the New Testament talks about another way, a different way. A way of remaining pure, and distinctive, but at the same time being an agent of change in the world. Read ahead in 1 Peter 2:11-12.
