National Youth Ministry Convention
NYMC
(National Youth Ministry Convention) is a convention for people involved in youth
ministry
regardless of profession (pastors, teachers, youth workers etc) aimed to
both
revive and equip. It looks awesome with some big-name speakers like Tony
Campolo and Duffy Robbins as well as some homegrown guys and the
electives look
interesting and relevant. It runs 25-28 Sep (first Tues-Fri of the
September
holidays) down at Surfers.
There is an
early bird
discount ending 30/6 as well as a group discount so if you're
interested, let
me (Clinton) know ASAP and I'll book us in! For further info, check out

Just an
update from Heather and
Suz: God
has done it again! There was a slight mix up with what was
reported to be
the overall total of money raised by you, church family, but this is
what
makes the following news so much more awesome - we have just
heard
that all the supplies needed for the Zambian cafe project have been
purchased
by a fellow team member, with the total at just over $1000, roughly the
exact
amount of money donated by you! God's provision is perfect!
Because of
your generous support the Zambian cafe will get off to a flying start
with 2
blenders, 2 decent coffee machines, and print
cartridges!
Once
again, thank for your donations and prayers - know that you have
been a
part of transforming a lot of Zambian's peoples lives!
