Update re: Carlee Spiers
Carlee is still in the PA Hospital. The infection in her eye was very serious, and recovery will be a long haul. It may be 12 months before the final situation is clear. At present Carlee only has 10% vision in the affected eye. This means she will not be able to drive for at least 3 months. Depending on the final state of her recovery, a corneal transplant may be required.
Please pray for Carlee and her family. They are very grateful for the support and care of church families at RCRC, Cleveland Baptist, and Victoria Point Baptist. Please also pray for Dr Peter Beckingsale, the Corneal Specialist and others on her medical team
PS. A contact lens solution (AMO brand) has been recalled form the market. If you have this solution at home, please cease use and seek the advice of our pharmacist as to the state of the recall.
